Here is the Review of the new Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime

Xiaomi have launched Redmi Note Prime in India in the last December which is available for a Price Tag of Rs.8400/-
Specifications :
The Redmi Note Prime is Powered by Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 chipset which is a Quad-Core clocked at 1.2 Ghz Cortex-A53 cores coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. It Sports a 5.5 Inch 720p HD display which has a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch with 4g Dual Sim Capabilities (Mirco Sim)
Redmi Note Prime is packed with 2gb ram and 16gb On board Storage which can be expanded upto 32gb via SdCard.Redmi Note Prime sports a 13mp rear camera with flash and a 5mp front camera,all this is packed.Under the Hood it houses a 3100 mah Li-po battery which is Removable and Supports Quick Charge.

Build:
The Body is made of plastic body and has round shaped edges and the handset is 9.4 mm slim.The Speaker is Placed at the Back Side and at Bottom there is MI logo.There is One Tiny Led light which is beside the front camera for Notifications and Rear Camera is at the center at the Back.The camera module is a little Out from the Device's Surface.
Gaming:
The Gaming Performance is great ..Smooth no lags or choppiness.All the graphics were getting rendered.There were no Frame drops.We played and tested with Several Games like Mortal Combat X,FL Commando,Dead Trigger 2,Asphalt 8.

Redmi Note prime comes with Snapdragon 410 which is a Quad Core 64 bit processor with Cortex A53 architecture to provide fluid performance more than 32bit processors and you get quick Charge Capabilities which reduces the Charging Time.The Redmi Note Prime comes with Light Sensor,Proximity Sensor,Compass Sensor,Gyroscope,Accelerometer.
Display :
Redmi Note Prime comes with 5.5 Inch 720p HD Display with 267 ppi.The Viewing angles are good the screen is visible from almost all angles.The color reproduction is Nice colors look good.The screen is visible outdoors
Sound Quality :
Sound output from speaker is Loud Enough and clear though can get muffled at times when Gaming.The Audio Output via the Headphone Jack is Pretty amazing.You can toggle the Equalizer to get a more taste.We used the Mi Earphones 2015 Youth Edition which worked flawlessly and had amazing sound output.So if you are a user who listens music on Smartphone you will love it and will be thrilled..
MIUI :
MIUI is an Beautiful,Elegant interface which is well optimized for Redmi devices.The Performance is Smooth,Fluid and Lag Free.Ram management is nice,apps remain in memory.Over all this you can a lot of features like Themes,Fonts etc which gives more customizability.You get Weekly Updates also which has bug fixes.
Camera:
Redmi note prime features a 13mp camera with Led flash.You get the camera app which is in Miui.It has modes like HDR,Panorama,Manual Mode and more filters in settings.
The Auto Focus Speed is Good and there is zero shutter lag,the picture gets captured quickly..Thumbs up for that!! The colors are Pretty accurate in picture.The front camera is 5mp and Supports 720p Video Recording.You can check out the Shots below which are Great.

Benchmarks:
The Redmi Note Prime scores 22,841 which is good and expected score.While on Quadrant Standard Benchmark Test it scored 11,871.In Vellamo (Metal) it scored 815.On GeekBench 3 the scores were Single Core-480 and Multi Core 1446.Nenamark 2 gave us score of 53.7 Fps.
The Benchmarks score are average,nothing special here.

Battery Backup:
Battery Backup is the one which is Great.With a Full Charge the Redmi Note Prime Lasted for a working Day.We got a On-Screen Time of 5hours 31mins on 3g which is great.While on WIFI we got a On-Screen Time of around 7 Hours (6h 58m) both Wifi and 3g backup on Moderate-Heavy Usage.
Conclusion:
The Redmi Note Prime is worth to buy at a Price of 8,499 if you are on a Low-Budget.What you get is Decent Camera,Good Display,Great Battery Backup with Weekly Miui Updates,Good Performance and much more.If you are a Moderate-Heavy User this phone is a Good buy.
